Absences

When students are absent, they need to bring a note explaining their absence the day they return. Notes need to be written by their parents and include (1) student’s name, (2) date of the absence, (3) reason for absence, and (4) parent signature.

Tardy Policy

Students need to inside the classroom with the 7:45 am (9:45 am Wednesday) morning bell rings. Students not in class will be marked as tardy. Students who are tardy will receive the following consequences:

• Tardy 1 = Warning

• Tardy 2 = Nutrition Detention

• Tardy 3-5 = Nutrition and Lunch Detention

• Tardy 6 = Parent Conference and In-School Suspension

Closed Campus

MASS is a closed campus facility. Students are to remain on campus from the moment they entire the gates to the time they leave. Students may not leave the campus during school hours or after school and later return the same day.
