ASB Freshmen Committee Applications Due

ASB is proud to announce that applications for the Freshman Committee are now available. 


What is ASB?
ASB is the Associated Student Body (student government), a group of students who are dedicated to making our school a better place. As a member of ASB, you will work together to fundraise and organize school events. It is a responsibility, but the rewards are abundant as you will simultaneously become a stronger leader and get to know many of the people that will make your high school experience so much better!

How Do I Apply?
The application is a Google form may be found in an email sent by Ms. Woo on 10/20/21. 
You will need to complete a *short* 1-2 minute speech video along with your application. Video guidelines are included on the application form. 

What Positions Are Open?
Every position for Freshman Committee is open, which includes: 

• President
• Vice President
• Secretary
• Treasurer 
• Publicist

Position descriptions and more information are in the ASB Constitution.

Requirements
Students must be passionate about improving our school! Students must also maintain a 2.46 GPA, 85% school attendance, and have no discipline issues.

Deadlines and Other Information
Completed applications with speech video will be due on Wednesday, October 27th by 4:00 pm to Ms. Harvey and Mr. Vermillion. Be sure to provide editing privileges to your file! Your Advisory Teachers will share additional details during Advisory.
