AP US History Students Experience the Reagan Situation Room
The Reagan Library opened a new learning experience, called the Situation Room, and our students were the first to participate. Students role-played a simulation based on a crisis in a replicated White House Situation Room. Students had multiple roles, including White House Press Speaker, news anchors, researchers, and the press. The experience allowed all students to make on demand, crucial decisions that had possible real life implications to understand the importance of governmental decisions.
